Creation of my personal brand
(part 01.) - 2nd of October 2023

So, it is finally time to make my brand. Plain and simple...One that will reflect myself as a graphic designer (Filip Korić) rather than my micro-studio (Candypepper). It was suggested by many experts online as well as my colleagues and co-workers that a real person, a real name (in this case Filip Korić - myself) is a much stronger branding point than the brand name (in this case, the name of my studio - Candypepper). Real people connect with real people with real names much better than with abstract brand names whose names they perhaps do not even understand.
The starting point will be a small exercise suggested by Chris Do (The Futur).

So, if You do not feel like scrolling on LinkedIn, the basic premise is this: take the packaging (yes, the packaging or label) that is most aesthetically pleasing to You, deconstruct it to the most basic elements (fonts, colors, textures, visual elements) and simply take them to make Your brand.
I am a huge fan of many different styles (from luxury minimalism to rustic grunge design) and it might be a good idea to explore as many many different visual styles and aesthetic approaches as possible. In next post I will publish my first result in this design experiment.
